Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) has been steadily growing their brand portfolio in recent years, and we’re especially excited about their newest addition—the Vignette Collection.
The current IHG portfolio includes favorites of ours such as Intercontinental San Diego, Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown, and Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach. With the Vignette Collection, IHG is creating a new brand that will allow independent operators to operate under the IHG umbrella without the rigid requirements of a formal brand. Consider it a competitor to options such as Marriott’s The Luxury Collection or Hyatt’s The Unbound Collection.
The first properties in the Vignette Collection will be Hotel X in Brisbane, Australia and Pattaya Aquatique Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand. Once those properties launch, we’ll be on the lookout for any airline staff rates. We’ll be sure to share what we find.
IHG does have a pretty robust airline employee rate program in place, but your success will often vary by property and destination. We’ll keep you updated!
