KAYAK, the travel booking website, has officially opened its first hotel in Miami Beach. If you’re looking for a casual yet modern respite just a few blocks from the sand, KAYAK Miami Beach a great option to consider.
Set in a historic Art Deco building dating back to 1934, the hotel is a classic addition to the neighborhood, but don’t expect old-school amenities here. KAYAK has set out to reenvision how travelers interact with staff and their room with digital door locks, remote check-in, and an integrated mobile app experience. The property is pitched as an “innovation hub” to test new technologies in the industry.
Apart from its location, the hotel has a number of amenities to offer guests including an on-site cocktail bar, restaurant, and rooftop pool. Guestrooms are also outfitted with modern millennial comforts like rain showers, Marshall speakers, and Le Labo bath products.
It’s interesting to see a digital brand expand into physical accommodations. Perhaps we’ll see this trend continue with other online travel providers. And, of course, we’ll keep you updated if any airline staff rates become available at this property.
